OVERVIEW OF EDUCATION SERVICES
The purpose of Education Services Program is to contribute to the well-being of our community by providing effective needs assessment,
educational opportunities, consultation and resources primarily for board members, staff and volunteers of non-profit agencies.
TRAINING OFFERED IN A VARIETY OF FORMATS

Customized Workshops
Workshops can be customized to meet the needs of the organization.
Experienced trainers can facilitate a variety of Board Development workshops,
generally offered in up to three hour sessions. See the list of topics available.

Consultations
An experienced trainer will assist agency staff or volunteers in some aspect of planning or development
- usually one hour.
Organizational Needs Assessment
This assessment tool can help pinpoint areas for growth in an agency.
A trainer will bring the tool to an agency meeting of the board (and staff) to complete, then return with a summary of results and recommendations.

Noon Nuggets
Noon Nuggets are a series of one hour workshops offered at lunch time.
Nuggets are a great opportunity to increase knowledge
of Board Development and Volunteer Management topics.
Sessions also provide a venue for networking.
All Noon Nuggets will be held in The Saint John Volunteer Centre Training Room,
Suite 224, 66 Waterloo Street.
